Custom Sketchbook Commission Auction - OVER

I've been wanting to do a sketch book auction for some time now, and for the first one I decided to make it even more special by hand crafting the book myself. This is the first one I've done and depending on how it goes I may do more in the future, but not likely very often. AUCTION DETAILS:

This auction is for an 80 page hand bound leather sketchbook. The pages are roughly 3" x 4" and paper is 65lb Kraft cardstock. I will be sketching on at least 10 pages of the book, the first one is already done (shown in preview) the final bid will determine how many pages I do.

Keep in mind, because the pages are small, portraits work best (shoulders up) but I will also include full body Chibi's if you would like.

Expect the commissions to be completed in about a months time, depending on the final page count for the commission. I will share each picture as it is completed so you get to enjoy the process.


Winner will receive:
- The book, which is hand bound leather, roughly 3" x 4" with 65lb Kraft cardstock pages.

- At least 10 sketches, done in pencil with colored pencil accents.  The remaining pages will be left blank for you to finish if you wish, higher bids will include more finished pages.

- I will include a few of my own ideas in the book, you may also give me suggestions such as your characters, fan art, or general ideas like fairies, dragons, etc. It's easiest if you provide a few characters or ideas and I draw them in the order that seems most interesting to me, to keep with the sketch book feel. If you aren't sure what you'd like drawn I will be happy to draw whatever comes to mind.

- I will include a personalized message and signature on the first page of the book.


Why the auction:
I thought this would be a fun way to celebrate my birthday! Plus I love sketchbooks and hope others might enjoy having one with my art in it!

How payment works:
Payments will need to be made through paypal. Since this could get expensive and I expect it to take at least a month or two to finish, payments can be broken up. 50% up front and 50% just before shipping. The first payment will need to be made some time in the first week following the end of the auction. If you need other payment plans I'd be happy to discuss. You will get photos of each drawing as it is completed so you can keep track of my progress.

Auction Ends on Sunday, September 20th 2015 at 5:00pm PST! Sniping guard is 1 hour! Auction will end when no further bids are placed for 1 hour.

Starting Bid: $50
-Minimum increase: $10

10 pages will be added for each $40:
at $90 bid - 20 pages total will be included
at $130 bid - 30 pages total will be included
at $170 bid - 40 pages total will be included
at $210 bid - 50 pages total will be included
at $250 bid - 60 pages total will be included
at $290 bid - book will be filled 76 pages. front and back pages will be left blank so the leather cover stays nice.
